Graphic Design Intern (Website Revamp)
Mr. Lawnmower® is leveling up — and that starts with our digital presence. We are looking for a talented and driven Graphic Design Intern to join our team on-site in Scarborough and lead the full revamp of our website.
This is a fully on-site position at our Scarborough, ON location. Remote work is not available for this role.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full visual redesign of the Mr. Lawnmower® website — from discovery and wire framing to high‑fidelity mockups and final design handoff
- Create detailed, responsive web design mockups in Figma (desktop, tablet, and mobile views)
- Develop and present multiple design concepts and iterate based on feedback
- Build and maintain a consistent design system including typography, colour palette, iconography, and component library
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the new website reflects our brand identity, values, and positioning in the GTA market
- Design supporting visual assets including banners, landing pages, service pages, and CTAs optimized for conversions
- Prepare all design files and assets for clean developer handoff
- Assist with social media graphics, marketing collateral, and other brand assets as needed

Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Graphic Design, UI/UX, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related program
- Proficient in Figma — you know components, auto‑layout, prototyping, and design systems, not just the basics
- Experienced with mockup design and web design — you understand layouts, grid systems, responsive design, and what makes a great user experience
- Comfortable working in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator
, Adobe Photoshop
, and/or Adobe XD - You have a portfolio that includes web design projects, mockups, or UI work — you can show us your process, not just the final output
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of typography, colour, and visual hierarchy
- Able to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
- A self‑starter who doesn’t need to be micromanaged — you take ownership and follow through
- Bonus: familiarity with Word Press, basic HTML/CSS, or experience designing for conversion (CTAs, landing pages)
