Job Purpose

To support the Customer Lead in delivering profitable customer growth while developing the commercial, analytical and relationship‑management skills required to progress into a Customer / Account Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Financial Performance

  • Support delivery of turnover, customer profitability, Market Winning Share and TTS targets for Ice Cream within the customer.
  • Assist with short‑ and long‑term volume forecasting, working closely with Demand Planning and aligned to the S&OP process.
  • Manage monthly invoicing, promotional claims and accurate financial administration.
  • Produce regular account analytics and reporting to support performance tracking and decision‑making.

Promotions & Planning

  • Own the planning, execution and administration of promotional activities, once approved by the Customer Lead.
  • Manage promotional portals (e.g. FSNI / FSSI) and maintain accurate promotional data.
  • Complete post‑promotional evaluations, providing insights and recommendations to improve future activity.
  • Support the development and delivery of FSNI and FSSI business plans, with opportunity to take increased ownership of FSSI as capability develops.

Customer & Account Support

  • Support preparation for and participation in customer account meetings, including maintaining JBPs and business review templates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is shared with the field team, tracking key execution elements. E.g. Field 1 pages/detailers
  • Identify opportunities that strengthen customer partnerships and drive growth.
  • Support new product development (NPD) launches, including forecasting, coordination and post‑launch review.

Insights, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collate competitive intelligence and market insights to support sales and customer analysis.
  • Participate in forecasting and cross‑functional collaboration meetings.
  • Take ownership of projects and process improvements that support customer, channel and business objectives.
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Grocery Ice Cream team as required.

Skills

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Collaborates with CSP team to enable and support the right category growth management approach to ensure the triple-win (customer, shopper, TMICC)
  • Commercial strategy – understands the TMICC trade investment strategy.
  • Understands their customer and uses that knowledge to build stronger customer relationships by educating and informing key TMICC people.
  • Is data literate, able to analyse promotional data to make better decisions and identify new trends that impact the customer, category and TMICC
  • Understands how to execute with excellence with the customer when it comes to promotional activities.
  • Familiar with negotiation tactics and strategies, with an understanding of the appropriate trading variables available to negotiate with.
  • Knows the fundamental information to include in presentations that aids Customer Managers when selling their category growth ideas.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of business experience, preferably cross-functional
  • FMCG experience in field execution, CSP or customer roles.
