Role Description The GTM role at Meridian is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY, focused on developing and executing go-to-market strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying target customer segments, refining value propositions, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to align offerings with market needs. The role involves managing sales pipelines, conducting customer discovery calls, and building relationships with key stakeholders to drive adoption and revenue. The GTM professional will create and iterate on messaging, sales collateral, and enablement materials, while analyzing performance data to optimize campaigns and outreach efforts. This position requires close coordination with leadership to prioritize opportunities, report on progress, and help shape Meridian’s presence in emerging AI markets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and market segmentation for B2B technology or AI-driven products.
- Background in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, with the ability to manage pipelines and convert leads into long-term customers.
- Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to gather market insights, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable GTM plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities to craft clear, compelling messaging and collateral for diverse audiences.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams, and contributing to fast-moving startup environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in New York, NY, with a high level of ownership, adaptability, and collaborative mindset.
- Experience in AI, data products, or selling into traditional or underdigitized industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
