About Honeybalm
Honeybalm is one of the fastest-growing DTC brands in our category, with millions of customers across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. We are scaling rapidly, and performance marketing is the engine behind this. Our mission is to bring small moments of joy in people's everyday lives with playful beauty products, powered by bees.
The role
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Marketplaces who has done it before, wants to do it bigger, and is genuinely obsessed with it.
You will own Honeybalm's full marketplaces business end-to-end, with Amazon as the centrepiece. This includes account strategy, listing and content optimisation, advertising, inventory and FBA operations, pricing, and expansion into new marketplaces and regions.
The role is accountable for marketplace revenue, profitability, and Buy Box ownership across all markets. You will set channel strategy, build the systems, and partner with eCommerce, Brand, Supply Chain, and Performance to scale marketplaces into a meaningful pillar of Honeybalm's international growth.
What you will own
• Amazon strategy and operations across all active marketplaces (US, UK, EU, AU)
• Listing creation and optimisation, including A+ content, brand store, and SEO
• Marketplace advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP)
• Inventory planning and FBA operations, including Q4 readiness
• Marketplace pricing strategy and Buy Box management
• Reviews, ratings, and seller reputation
• Expansion into new marketplaces and regions
• Forecasting and scaling against Honeybalm's seasonal peaks
How you will succeed
You know Amazon inside out and you treat it as a growth channel, not a back-office. You connect listings, ads, inventory, and pricing into one clear plan. You bring structure to complexity without losing momentum. You make sharp decisions on assortment, bidding, and stock when the signal demands it. You build systems that compound, not reports that describe. You're obsessed with profitability and category dominance, not just topline. You are obsessed with growth and do everything to grow Honeybalm to the next level.
What you bring
• 5+ years in marketplaces & eCommerce, with proven experience scaling a DTC or CPG brand on Amazon internationally
• Personally managed and scaled multi-million annual marketplace revenue
• Deep, hands-on expertise across Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central, FBA, and Amazon Ads
• Strong grasp of marketplace economics (margin, fees, ACOS, TACOS, profitability per ASIN)
• Experience launching and scaling on multiple Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, EU at minimum)
• Working knowledge of other relevant marketplaces and the judgement to know when to enter them
• Multi-market and multi-currency scaling experience
• A genuine passion for the craft of marketplaces
• Fluent in English
This role is not for you if
• You see Amazon as an admin task instead of a growth channel
• You prefer reporting on performance over owning it
• You delegate accountability for results
• You optimise for revenue without thinking about profitability
• You rely on agencies to do the strategic thinking for you
What we offer
• Full ownership of the marketplaces business of an internationally scaling DTC brand
• A direct line to the founders and a real seat at the strategic table
• A strong existing team across performance, eCommerce, supply, and creative to build on
• The ambition, the resources, and the runway to build something exceptional
• A competitive compensation package, structured to reflect the seniority and impact of the role
• Modern office at Strijp-S, Eindhoven
How to apply
Send your CV and a short note covering:
• The most impactful marketplaces initiative you've led
• The scale you've operated at (revenue, marketplaces, team)
• Why this role and Honeybalm?
