Mechanical Assembler
ACS Valves has grown consistently over the years as a reputable manufacturer of rotary airlock valves, which is why we’re looking for more skilled Mechanical Assemblers join our assembly department. Direct experience with rotary airlock valves is not required but considered an asset.

Job Description
- Align components for assembly or sub-assembly, by hand or with hoist, and bolt, screw, and rivet parts together, using hand and power tools.
- Fasten or install wiring and electrical components.
- Inspect, operate, and test completed machines, verify clearances are within tolerance.
- Cut material to size using templates. Material such as polyurethane, EPDM and belting.
- Identify components and sub-assemblies.
- Assist with rebuild disassembly and inspections as needed.
- Work safely at all times and maintain a safe work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Experience in mechanical assembly in a shop or manufacturing environment.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, grinders/belt sander, overhead hoist.
- Can lift 25-30 lbs
- Can lift, push and pull
- Standing for periods of time
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude with the ability to work independently.
