Become an independent contractor as a Lessons Teacher with Long & McQuade. Teach piano, guitar, drums, and other instruments at on-site Lesson Centres.
Long & McQuade seeks passionate music educators with teaching experience for various instruments. This role requires candidates with a music degree or equivalent standing and a solid background in teaching students of all ages. Effective application of lesson plans and recognized teaching methods is a must to foster musical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach lessons in piano, guitar, bass, and drums
• Instruct woodwinds, brass, strings, and voice
• Use effective teaching methods and curricula
• Engage with students across all age groups
• Provide feedback to promote musical growth
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Professional equivalency can be considered
• Previous teaching experience with diverse age groups
• Strong understanding of standard curriculum in music education
