Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the City of Cape Town for an FF&E Designer. The FF&E Designer will be responsible for designing, sourcing, and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment in alignment with project requirements. Responsibilities include creating detailed presentations, collaborating with architects and design teams, managing procurement, and ensuring timely deliveries. The designer will oversee project installations, maintain supplier relationships, and stay informed on industry trends to deliver innovative and high-quality designs.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) design, as well as space planning and styling
- Strong understanding of material sourcing, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite and other related programs
- 3 Years experience required
- Ability to create detailed design concepts, presentations, and mood boards
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to adhere to timelines and budgets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail
- Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or wellness design is a significant advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, or a related field preferred
