Publicis looks for the next Intermediate UI/UX Designer to join the Digital Team.
Are you a talented, multi-skilled UI/UX Designer with a knack for taking complex business requirements and turning them into visually exciting, seamless online experiences across multiple platforms, browsers, and devices? If that sounds like you, we want you to join our talented Digital Team!
The Digital Team works with enterprise solutions for industry‑leading websites in a positive, collaborative, hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Quickly learn and understand our teams’ internal processes and collaborative tools. One‑on‑one and group training activities will help you get up‑to‑speed and start contributing as soon as possible.
- The design and output of assets necessary for projects that range from full conceptualization of a new page to minor page updates within existing frameworks and, applying Figma design systems.
- Edit photo asset compositions and basic retouching techniques.
- Produce and present wireframes, prototypes, and mock‑ups in Figma to effectively communicate design and functionality to the team, and the client.
- Layout of display‑size breakpoints and applying grid layouts to ensure accuracy and consistency in development.
- Give and receive constructive, detailed input and feedback to your colleagues during brainsorms, and internal design reviews.
- Work with Strategy to create solutions for complex user scenarios and flows.
- Collaborate with our in‑house development team to ensure projects meet prescribed design guidelines, working together to resolve design/developer obstacles and concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years professional working experience in a UI/UX design role or similar, with a keen focus on best practices in UI/UX.
- Working knowledge in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and collaboration.
- Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Working knowledge in typography, layout, photo manipulation/retouching, and other graphic design fundamentals.
- Experience in responsive web design for desktop, tablet, and mobile with a mobile‑first mindset. Laying out screen breakpoints and applying grid layouts to ensure accuracy and consistency in development.
- Understanding of how to produce assets for development.
- Ability to follow web‑based style guides from conceptualization to production.
- Experience collaborating on a multi‑disciplinary digital team, including Developers, Strategists, Project Managers, Copywriters, etc.
- Strong communication skills:
Verbal, written and the ability to articulate design rationale clearly and convincingly to both clients and colleagues. - Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and adapt under fast timelines, and changing requirements in real‑time.
- Passion for learning, expanding your skillset, and employing the latest digital tools, processes, and technology to keep our clients on the leading edge.
Special Considerations
- Knowledge or experience working with AODA compliance standards.
- Experience working in an agile project management environment.
- Familiar with Confluence and Jira.
- Working knowledge of AEM or other CMS.
- Working knowledge of front‑end development; HTML and CSS.

Salary
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $65 -$75 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
