Position: IT – Digital Product Designer – Expert (Content Designer)

Job Description:
The Content Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital experiences by shaping and delivering effective content strategies.
The position supports the organization’s mission to lead in exceptional digital experiences through strategic content, collaboration, and focus on client needs and regulatory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Create and implement strategies for client-focused digital content
Facilitate collaborative design and ideation sessions
Provide rationale and guidance for content strategies to product teams
Set practical direction for communication standards, tools, and processes
Advocate for clients’ needs regarding the role and impact of content in product design
Produce clear, concise textual content for digital products (labels, explanatory text, metadata, etc.)
Collaborate with peers to develop non-textual content and apply inclusive design principles
Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance
Manage content documentation and lifecycle
Support and facilitate team-led research and testing on content effectiveness
Conduct competitive and content audits in support of design or business goals.
Must Have:
Post-secondary education (university degree or college diploma preferred)
Minimum years of writing experience in a creative agency or in-house creative team
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
Portfolio showcasing professional copywriting work.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of accessibility standards and remediation methods.
Awareness of current design and technology trends.
