About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Content Writer with strong writing skills, a keen understanding of SEO best practices, and the ability to produce engaging content across multiple industries. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for writing travel content, web copy, copywriting and blog articles that are both creative and search-engine optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly articles, website content, and blogs across diverse industries (Travel, Gaming, technology, event management etc.).
- Research topics thoroughly to ensure factual accuracy and originality.
- Optimize content for keywords, readability, and engagement.
- Write persuasive and informative travel-related articles and destination guides.
- Develop engaging blog posts that align with brand voice and audience intent.
- Work with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization strategies.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and tone consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO, content, and digital marketing trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, IT, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Freshers pursuing their bachelors are also welcome to apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in content writing or SEO writing.
- Strong command of English with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and attention to detail.
- Ability to write engaging, original, and well-researched content.
- Basic understanding of SEO, keyword placement, and content optimization tools (e.g., Surfer SEO, Yoast, SEMrush).
- Creativity and adaptability to write across different tones and industries.
- Interest or experience in travel writing is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and content strategy.
- Understanding of Google Search Console and keyword research tools.
- Basic image sourcing and formatting skills.
