Role Overview
The Producer will work closely with the team to develop compelling concepts, direct episodes, and craft and execute video flows that resonate with our audiences.

What You'll Actually Do
Research & Episode Development
– Monitor trends, audience preferences, and competitive content. Source and vet potential guests or relevant episode casts.
– Brainstorm, assess content feasibility, and pitch creative ideas for organic YouTube videos and social media content.
– Send outreach to prospective guests and manage scheduling follow-ups (e.g. Conduct pre-interviews or exploratory calls)
Pre-Production
– Write engaging and relatable scripts for organic content that reflects our brand voice.
– Develop scripts for branded content that meet client briefs while maintaining authenticity.
– Edit and refine scripts based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
Shoot Preparation & Support
– Prepare hosts and schedule panel briefings + materials
– Assist in setup and teardown for shoots
– Take production notes (e.g. what landed, what didn't, unexpected moments for reels, etc.)
– Assist in creating a structured post-production brief for the editor immediately after each shoot.
Thumbnails & Packaging
– Iterate on titles, descriptions, and thumbnail options with the Brand Lead before publishing day.

What We Need From You
Must-haves:
– Strong interest in current affairs, politics, and social discussions.
– Based in Singapore and able to be on-site for shoots and team collaboration.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with both internal teams and clients.
– A proactive and problem-solving mindset, ready to tackle challenges head-on.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Good to have:
– Proven experience in content creation, preferably in YouTube or digital media production.
– Experience working with brands or on branded content.
– Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools for thumbnail work.
– Knowledge of video editing software or basic editing capabilities.
– Knowledge of YouTube trends, algorithms, and audience behavior. (e.g. click-through rate, retention curves, and what they imply for packaging decisions etc.)
