Junior Product Manager Jobs in Taipei City, Taiwan at Onramp Lab

Title: Junior Product Manager

Company: Onramp Lab

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan

Company Overview:

At OnRampLab, we build products that help businesses connect with the right people, conversations, and talent. Today we operate three core products — ContactLoop (multi-channel marketing), VoiceFusion (Voice AI engine), and RemoteHunter (remote talent platform) — with several new product lines on the way.

As we scale, we're adding a Junior Product Manager to support product discovery, help translate customer needs into clear direction, and contribute to cross-functional coordination across our growing portfolio. You'll work alongside our Staff Engineer and experienced product leaders, with real ownership handed to you as you grow — so you can focus on what matters most: making sure product decisions are driven by real customer value.

Job Description:

We're looking for a Junior Product Manager to work closely with our Staff Engineer / TPM and experienced product leads on product direction, customer-needs translation, and zero-to-one new product launches. You'll help shape what to build and why, while learning the craft alongside people who've done it before. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, keeps their head under pressure, and is developing a healthy skepticism of AI demos that look "95% there." You're a daily user of AI tools, comfortable in a US-style work environment, and eager to operate across time zones, products, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help figure out what customers actually need — from interviews, support logs, usage data, and stakeholder feedback. Not just collecting requests, but learning to judge what's worth doing.
  • Contribute to defining what "good" means for AI products: quality bar, escalation triggers, human-in-the-loop boundaries. Logic over detail.
  • Support a new product line from zero to one — discovery, MVP, launch, and iteration — with guidance and increasing ownership over time.
  • Act as a connective point between Taiwan engineering, overseas colleagues, and customers, helping keep things moving across time zones, products, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate product decisions clearly to leadership, engineering, and overseas counterparts, in their own language and style.
  • Stay current with AI capabilities and build your judgment on what's feasible now vs. worth waiting for the next model.
  • Absorb light program-management work as needed, given the multi-time-zone, multi-product nature of the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (any field).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience — early-career candidates from adjacent backgrounds (B2B product, UX research, customer-facing roles, consulting) all welcome.
  • Fluent English (written + spoken); can join daily syncs with non-Chinese-speaking colleagues and write clear, structured, conclusion-first documents (no buried lead, no anti-climax).
  • Interest in cross-cultural collaboration across time zones, and comfort in (or curiosity about) a US-style work environment.
  • Composed under pressure; willing to make a call and move forward even with incomplete information.
  • Flexible communicator who adapts style for different audiences (leadership, engineering, overseas colleagues, customers) and helps get people and things moving.
  • Sensitive to AI product quality — sees an AI demo and instinctively asks "what about the remaining 5%?" rather than being impressed by the 95%.
  • Daily user of AI tools (Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor / Notion AI); occasional use isn't enough for this role.
  • Proactive and eager to learn — spots gaps, asks good questions, and takes initiative rather than waiting to be told.

Bonus & Plus:

  • Overseas (US / Europe) work, study, or living experience.
  • Exposure to Voice AI, Conversational AI, MarTech, or Sales Tech.
  • Hands-on with AI prototyping tools (Claude Code, v0, Cursor); able to build simple prototypes independently.
  • Has experimented with evaluation criteria or success metrics for AI products.

Ideal Traits:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, "just do things" startup environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and willing to bring structure where processes are still evolving.
  • Curious and self-driven, with a genuine appetite to learn and grow quickly.
  • Collaborative and respectful communicator who builds positive relationships with engineering, leadership, and customers.
