Role Description
HardScope is seeking a proactive and creative Line Producer to join our dynamic content creation team. In this role, you'll support the development and execution of video content, social media campaigns, and live events, working closely with producers, creators, and cross-functional teams. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in media production who thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to creator-driven projects that emphasize authenticity and commercial success. You’ll streamline and oversee budgeting and production cost tracking. You'll help coordinate pre-production planning, on-set operations, and post-production workflows to bring innovative ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers and talent to develop content concepts, scripts, and storyboards for video productions and social campaigns.
- Coordinate logistics for shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, permitting, and talent coordination.
- Management of production budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and at acceptable cost
- Oversee on-set activities, such as directing crew, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Support post-production by liaising with editors, reviewing rough cuts, and ensuring final deliverables align with creative vision and brand standards.
- Conduct research on trends, audience insights, and competitive content to inform production strategies.
- Facilitate communication between production, marketing, talent management, and other departments to align on goals and deliverables.
- Contribute to brainstorming and pitch sessions, helping to refine ideas that drive engagement and revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, legal requirements, and quality standards throughout the production process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in media production, preferably in digital content or entertainment (internships or assistant roles count toward experience).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Outstanding production budgeting skills and strong familiarity with costs associated will all sorts of productions
- Exceptional data management skills, experience with building AI workflows is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building relationships with creators, crew, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel for productions.
- Passion for the creator economy and digital storytelling.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in scripting, storyboarding, or content development for social platforms.
- Familiarity with audience analytics tools and trends in digital media.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation in production settings.
- Ability to handle on-set technical equipment and direct small teams.
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000, based on experience
