Marketing Coordinator Jobs in South Africa at Phillips Butterworth
Title: Marketing Coordinator
Company: Phillips Butterworth
Location: South Africa
About the Company
We're hiring: Marketing Coordinator Phillips Butterworth | supporting our family of brands. Fully remote — permanently based in South Africa. If you love the craft of marketing — words, design, social, brand — and want to run the show across a group of growing brands, read on.
About the Role
We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to take ownership of marketing across Phillips Butterworth and our family of brands. You'll be the engine behind how we show up online — jobs, articles, newsletters, social, and the personal brands of the people inside each business.
Responsibilities
- LinkedIn job slots — managing our 8 active job posts and rotating them to keep every slot earning its keep.
- Social media — running every brand's social channels with a rolling content calendar.
- Website jobs — uploading new roles weekly across each brand's site.
- Articles — producing on-brand articles for every brand's website (color, tone, imagery — all on point).
- Newsletters — designing and building each brand's newsletter in HTML, pulling together articles, ads, jobs and salary surveys.
- Personal branding — shaping each brand's identity and building the LinkedIn presence of our consultants and leaders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, content or brand roles.
Required Skills
- HTML newsletter experience is a MUST — you've previously designed and implemented B2B newsletters in HTML for business units / corporate audiences.
- Strong written English and a sharp eye for design.
- Confident across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and the usual CMS tools (WordPress or similar).
- Comfortable juggling multiple brands across multiple regions without losing the thread of any of them.
- Someone who actually enjoys building personal brands — for businesses AND the people inside them.
- Self-directed and disciplined — this is a remote role, so you'll need to own your own rhythm.
- Based permanently in South Africa, able to work across UK, Asia and Australia time zones.
Preferred Skills
- Variety — recruitment, articles, salary surveys, newsletters, personal branding. No two weeks look the same.
- Impact you can see — every post, article and newsletter goes live with your fingerprints on it.

ZAR 25,000 – 32,500 per month (max), depending on experience.
