Marketing Specialist Jobs in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at Ausmed

Title: Marketing Specialist

Company: Ausmed

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

The Opportunity

Ausmed is a fast-growing health technology company, and this is a key new role within our Marketing team. As Marketing Specialist, you'll own the acute care go-to-market strategy end-to-end, driving qualified leads and pipeline revenue by reaching hospitals, health services, and clinical teams who need a workforce capability solution that goes beyond compliance ticking.

The Team at Ausmed are passionate, professional, and we really care about the work we do. We make an impact every day, continuously improving our products and services to reflect the voices of the healthcare community. You will be part of a team who take pride and joy in building high-quality, effective software.

This role is best suited to a multi-channel B2B marketer with 3–6 years' experience who's hands-on, numbers-confident, and genuinely curious about how AI can sharpen their craft.

About Ausmed

At Ausmed, we help healthcare providers build and sustain a capable workforce by ensuring real skills are developed, demonstrated, and applied in practice. Our Workforce Capability System creates confident, capable teams by integrating training, performance tracking, and competency management. Rooted in evidence-based models of clinical competence and outcomes-driven learning, Ausmed empowers organisations to measure impact and drive meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery. Ausmed is a fun, energetic and fast-paced work environment. Together, we help improve the lives of many hundreds of thousands of people daily.

Your Impact

  • Own the acute care go-to-market strategy, from segmentation and messaging to channel selection, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
  • Work closely with the other marketing leads for each sector, as well as the Multimedia Designer and Events Coordinator, to execute your strategy.
  • Deliver MQL and pipeline targets for the acute care segment, with clear reporting on what's driving results and what isn't.
  • Execute multi-channel campaigns spanning content, email, paid, events, and beyond.
  • Deep-dive into the acute care segment, including hospital L&D leads, quality and patient safety teams, and clinical education managers to shape messaging that reflects how they actually think and buy.
  • Own the acute care marketing budget end-to-end, from planning spend to tracking actuals and reporting ROI against pipeline outcomes.
  • Partner with sales on pipeline handoffs, deal support, and maintaining tight feedback loops.
  • Create clinically credible content that speaks to how acute care buyers actually think.

Experience, Skills & Attributes

  • 3–6 years of multi-channel B2B marketing experience. You've run campaigns end-to-end, not just one part of them.
  • You can read performance metrics, spot what's working, and make spending decisions with confidence.
  • You know how to make a segment budget work hard and can account for every dollar against outcomes.
  • Confident enough with design to execute creative independently. You can get assets across the line without hand-holding.
  • Experience with design software eg. Figma preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Hubspot Marketing Hub or similar CRM platforms preferred but not essential
  • Mid–level understanding of HTML, CSS and events-based marketing.
  • A strong, clear writer who can earn credibility with clinical and quality professional audiences.
  • You actively use new tools to work faster and smarter, as a real habit rather than a talking point.
  • You move with shifting priorities rather than against them.
  • Experience in healthcare or a regulated sector is a real plus, but not a dealbreaker.
