Position: Mathematics Teacher (Grades 9-12)
- Certification:
Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate in Secondary Mathematics (Grades 612) in accordance with Louisiana Department of Education guidelines (Bulletin 746). - Education:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field.
- Experience:
2+ years of teaching experience is frequently preferred.
- Content Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Louisiana Student Standards for Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, functions, statistics, and problem-solving, as well as curriculum implementation. - Skills:
Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; effective classroom management; ability to use data-driven instruction to improve student achievement.
