ABOUT GLOBAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (GBS): A business partner & transformation engine for TMICC and aim to offer integrated of People, process, data and technology from design to deliver.

As part of this set-up, Magnum Ice Cream will establish a future-fit and innovative GBS organization, partnering with multiple business functions across a global footprint to optimize processes, unlock business savings, and operational efficiency.
The GBS organization will partner key business functions including Finance, Enterprise Solutions and Information Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, Customer Development and Sales, and Sustainability. A significant proportion of GBS roles will be based in one of our GBS hubs, with supporting spokes to be established in the Americas and Europe.
Job Purpose
The role will be working in supervision of GBS Master Data Management Team Lead, to support Vendor Master Data domain in setting up and continuous operations on data design and governance, by acting as the recognized expert for data model, data processes, value sets, compliance and standardization requirements and controls in the area you are responsible for. You will bring a strong SAP MDG technical knowledge, data domain knowledge and expertise connecting with Domain Leads and Business Process Owners to design and maintain scalable, consistent and simplified data models, and connecting with IT to deliver on its execution and with the business to ensure the standardization and compliance controls are observed; You work will contribute directly to securing End to End data integrity cross processes and IT landscape through adequate data and process standardization. With the demerger of TMICC from Unilever, the role will support the relevant demerger activities such as TSA exit & transfer, data cleaning and data migration.
Key Responsibilities
Core BPE role Support in gathering information related requirements, mapping to systems together with Business Information Owners and Business Process Owners / Experts (BPO/Es) including business process and regulatory requirements. Secure approvals and change control process on data models and master data management processes Special emphasis is on implementation of SAP MDG Thorough proficiency with Excel will be added advantage Support designing and maintaining of the Data Landscape target information models – including master & transactional data-, regulatory and standardization controls, ensuring data quality and end-to-end consistency, including in cooperation with other BIEs; validating it with BPO/BPEs as part of the solution design, and with IT BA’s ensuring implementation as per design; documenting it using standard notations, templates and tools as defined within Enterprise Information Management. Actively supporting the business transformation in data migration preparation and execution: Support creation and maintenance of data quality rules/checks, reaching-out to relevant IT BA’s & data stewards for control definition and relevant measurement; Support Data defect resolution: provides solutions / decisions / adjustment of cleansing rules and data model Supporting the definition of the master data domain roadmap including requirements, design and governance, implementation and deployment of the Master Data Management (MDM) solution and processes. Identifying and promoting continuous improvement opportunities to drive standardization design and adherence, including on data quality, by linking to business stakeholders, BPEs, data services and projects as well as with the IT community (including partner organizations) Freeze scope for data migration with the business: Source systems and objects, Relevancy rules, source rules, data object ownership matrix completed by business; Responsible to document and validate these inputs in the data requirements specification document. Design and validate value mapping with business, incl. transformation, harmonization rules (+reconciliation for finance) with support Data Migration Expert (DME). Create data cleansing rules as needed by Domain Leads Execute data cleansing based on rules by BIOs/Domain Leads and orphan data/construction, engaging with business and BPEs. Support Data Migration Experts(DME) in upload file preparation: carries-out data quality check before load. Perform data qualification: Analyze Pre- and post-load reports with the DME: resolve mismatch and exceptions, trigger BIE or BPE or IT BA for solution definition in their areas of responsibility Act as defect log first reviewer to confirm allocation of defect to relevant owners
MDM Function set up Establish and support scale the MDM team. Support developing data models where applicable. Co-lead MDM improvement initiatives in relevant domains Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of data management responsibilities. Build capability within the team—hiring, upskilling, mentoring, and defining roles/workflows.
- Transition Management
- Support leading the transition to SAP MDG (greenfield implementation), transition of MDM processes and teams from global or regional units into the GBS.
- Perform due diligence, risk analysis, and knowledge transfer planning.
- Ensure seamless migration with minimal business disruption.
- Align processes to the GBS operating model and standard tools.
- Drive stakeholder management throughout transition cycles.
- Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with global business leaders, GBS leadership, service line heads, and transformation teams.
- Communicate performance insights, business outcomes, and improvement opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships across levels and geographies.
- Business Information Expert (BIE)
- Vendor Master Data Field Standards: Define mandatory SAP Vendor Master fields (e.g., DUNS#, Tax ID, Bank Key), enforce format rules (length, character type), and set data quality thresholds.
- Data Mapping & Integration Rules: Map Ivalua form fields to SAP Vendor Master fields (e.g., Ivalua ‘Bank IBAN’ → SAP BANKN), define transformation logic, and establish error-handling rules for data mismatches.
- Vendor Data Governance & Ownership: Establish data attribute ownership in SAP (e.g., Procurement owns payment terms, Finance owns bank master data), define retention policies, and implement duplicate vendor detection rules.
- Master Data Quality & Enrichment: Specify enrichment sources (D&B / Dun & Bradstreet) to auto-populate missing SAP fields, configure MDG workflows, and monitor data completeness KPIs.
What You Need To Succeed
- Have a Master degree and 8+ years of working experience in the Customer/Vendor/Material/Product data domain in various MDM applications and related business processes.
- Have proven expertise in implementing SAP MDG preferably greenfield
- Have a proven track record in expert roles driving master data management solutions (requirements definition and consulting, data modeling, data requirements gathering, data governance, implementation and roll out of data models) and the ability to translate business requirements into data requirements and vice versa with process experts and IT business analysts. Understand the business impact, IT impact and data impact of the data and the solution alternatives
- Have a solid experience in business and operational experience with idea to market and market-to-order processes. Knowledge of data and information generated and required for these processes.
- Have a solid experience in the application areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP MM, PP, QM, SD) and configure-price-quote, pricing, contract management, billing, license & entitlement management; Data migration, data quality and MDM solutions (SAP MDG); knowledge of data and information generated and used in these systems.
- Are able to effectively present and communicate to senior stakeholders;
- Have the right communications skill set to challenge and influence counterparts;
- Have a broad understanding of data challenges in high tech manufacturing in terms of value chain processes and business models (product, system, software, service);
- Good structure and communication skills: with the data migration team, with partner operations and with the business; Strong team player
- Good analytical skills and experience in data profiling and analysis: Attention to details and determination to get things done in time and in quality
- Hands on SAP MDG experience, e.g. Target source/mapping, data migration, data cleansing etc. for his/her data domain
- Good knowledge and experience of business context: E2E processes and data model, data quality framework, data management operations for a given data domain is a plus
- Certified consultant in domain specific CPQ and/or SAP modules e.g. MM/PP/SD/QM is a plus
- Advanced excel capability will be very beneficial
- Experience with (safe) agile ways of working, dev ops is a plus
- Overall Experience: 8+ years Bachelors B.Tech must, masters preferred
