Media Relations Jobs in Jakarta, Indonesia at ParagonCorp

Title: Media Relations

Company: ParagonCorp

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Paragon has a story worth telling. In this role, you will be the person who tells it — with clarity, consistency, and credibility. From proactive media engagement to crisis communications, you will help shape how Indonesia understands what one of its most purpose-driven companies stands for.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead proactive and reactive media engagement across national, business, and trade media — developing story angles, managing pitches, building journalist relationships, and drafting press materials
  • Own and evolve Paragon's corporate narrative, translating the company's values, milestones, and ambitions into messages that resonate with media, government, and the public
  • Develop and institutionalize crisis communication frameworks — issue anticipation, standby statements, response protocols, and cross-functional coordination
  • Prepare and support executive spokespersons: media briefings, preparation sessions, and thought leadership positioning for senior leadership
  • Monitor the media landscape and public sentiment, delivering proactive insights and analysis to leadership on emerging opportunities and risks
  • Drive Paragon's international media presence and support communications in key growth markets

What We're Looking For:

  • 4–15 years in media relations, corporate communications, or PR — seniority calibrated to profile; leadership experience expected for senior candidates
  • Strong network of relationships with journalists and editors across Indonesian national and business media
  • Proven communications strategy experience — both proactive storytelling and real crisis management (not just tabletop exercises)
  • Excellent writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia; strong English proficiency required
  • Calm under pressure, organized, and able to work at pace across multiple priorities
  • FMCG, beauty, lifestyle, or corporate communications agency background preferred; international media experience a strong advantage for senior candidates

Why Join Corporate Affairs at Paragon:

  • At Paragon, we believe that how a company communicates reflects what it genuinely stands for. This is the team that ensures Paragon's voice is clear, consistent, and credible. Whether it is shaping a media story, preparing a CEO for a tough interview, or managing a communications crisis — this role is at the heart of it. If you care about the craft and the impact, you will find meaningful work here.
