The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and creative Mixologist to join our hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your craft within one of Muscat's most exclusive private members' clubs, creating exceptional beverage experiences that complement our premium dining and hospitality offering.
From expertly preparing classic cocktails to developing signature creations, you'll play an integral role in delivering memorable experiences for our members and guests. Working closely with the wider hospitality and culinary teams, you'll help maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and personalised service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve an exceptional range of classic, contemporary, and signature beverages.
- Deliver outstanding service while engaging with members and providing tailored recommendations.
- Maintain consistently high standards of drink quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary food and beverage pairings.
- Support private events, functions, and exclusive member experiences.
- Mentor and assist junior bar staff, promoting best practice and service excellence.
- Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and responsible service standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for mixology and hospitality who takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or in a premium hospitality environment.
- A strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology techniques, and premium non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A creative approach to flavour combinations, presentation, and beverage innovation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience training or mentoring junior team members is an advantage.
- High standards of professionalism, presentation, and attention to detail.
- Relevant food safety or beverage service certifications are desirable.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are an advantage).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special club events.
