Overview
Motion & Creative Designer Jobs in Birkirkara, Malta at Pure Concepts
Title: Motion & Creative Designer
Company: Pure Concepts
Location: Birkirkara, Malta
We’re looking for a Motion & Creative Designer who sees a blank canvas and immediately starts imagining how it moves. You are a visual storyteller who balances the art of illustration with the energy of motion. We don’t just want someone to push pixels; we want a creative partner who can build original worlds, design quirky characters, and help us figure out exactly how a story should unfold, frame by frame.
Key Responsibilities:
Original Craft: Create bespoke vector illustrations, storyboards, and digital artwork that give our clients a unique visual edge.
Concept Development: Build motion concepts and storyboards from scratch, defining the "how" and the "why" behind every transition and movement.
Raising the Bar: Play a leading role in elevating our creative output. You’ll push boundaries across social, film, and digital platforms to ensure every project feels fresh and high-end.
End-to-End Storytelling: Transform conceptual ideas into compelling visual narratives, mapping out the flow of a story from the first sketch to the final export.
Collaborative Design: Partner closely with our marketing and design teams to brainstorm and execute multi-channel campaigns. We want you to jump in, share ideas, and iterate alongside the team.
Asset Management: Maintain an organised library of illustrations and motion templates to keep our internal workflows efficient and scalable.
What You Bring to the Table
The Portfolio: A strong reel or portfolio showcasing a mix of sophisticated illustration styles and fluid, intentional motion design.
A Goal-Oriented Mindset: You enjoy the strategy as much as the art. You’re driven to make sure the work doesn't just look great, but effectively hits the client’s goals.
A Storyteller’s Instinct: A natural knack for pacing, timing, and a solid grasp of how to keep an audience engaged.
Visual Precision: A sharp eye for typography, layout, and colour theory, with the ability to adapt to different brand identities quickly.
The Toolkit: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. If you have experience with 3D tools (like Cinema 4D) or other animation software, we’d love to hear about it.
