Overview

As a  Senior Digital Designer you will help create compelling digital experiences that bring brands to life across web, desktop and mobile. This role blends visual storytelling, UX thinking, and interactive design to shape engaging digital products.

You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, developers, and project managers to deliver polished, high-performing experiences that balance creativity, compliance, and usability.

This person must be passionate about elevating the patient and caregiver experience through thoughtful, empathetic, and strategically grounded creative. You will concept, craft, and execute multi-channel work with a special focus on digital, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners. Doing so will ensure the work is thoughtful, clear, and emotionally resonant to ensure we are meeting the unique needs of the communities we serve.  This person must be highly organized, adaptable, and energized by solving challenges with creativity and heart.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype digital experiences for websites, banner ads, and emails. 
  • Translate brand and healthcare communication strategies into visually compelling digital executions
  • Create intuitive user experiences grounded in UX principles and accessibility best practices
  • Develop responsive layouts, typography systems, and visual design frameworks
  • Build interactive prototypes and motion-forward experiences using Figma and related tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, developers, medical/legal/regulatory teams
  • Maintain high standards for craft, detail, and consistency across all deliverables
  • Help evolve and strengthen digital brand experiences across multiple touchpoints
  • Develop smart, empathetic creative for patient and caregiver campaigns
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming and proactively bring fresh creative thinking forward.
  • Support concept development and creative execution across patient and caregiver–focused campaigns, materials, and digital experiences.
  • Own day-to-day development of deliverables across digital, print, and social channels.
  • Refine creative based on feedback from internal team, clients, and MLR review teams.
  • Maintain brand voice, design consistency, and high creative standards across all work. 
  • Participate in MLR process by preparing materials and addressing revisions quickly and thoughtfully.
  • Communicate progress, timelines, and needs proactively to project teams.
  • Contribute to internal culture through idea-sharing, peer reviews, and creative discussions.
  • A confident communicator who can lead client conversations and advocate for strong creative.

Qualifications + Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital design, UI/UX, or brand experience design
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital storytelling and interactive design work
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and other modern design/prototyping tools required
  • Experience designing and launching websites, and digital campaigns
  • Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Strong visual design sensibility with expertise in typography, layout, and color
  • Experience creating motion design, animated UI, or interactive prototypes
  • Ability to balance creativity with functionality, compliance, and user needs
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and solution-focused
  • Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines.

Other Experience

  • Experience working through MLR processes and developing compliant yet engaging materials.
  • Pharmaceutical experience required; product launch experience is a plus
  • Social media savvy, utilizing active personal and professional accounts
  • Strong skills utilizing Adobe Creative Suite:  InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Design experience in digital space: interactive PDFs, web, and app platforms, Figma, Canva, etc. 
  • Keeps pace with new trends in visual arts, typography, illustration, photography, as well as media and technology
  • Proficient in project management systems (HIVE a plus) 

Salary Range: $80,000 – 110,000k
