Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for an On-Camera News Reporter. The News Reporter will research, craft, and deliver news segments through on-camera reporting aligned with the International Career Show's mission. Responsibilities include creating compelling news stories, preparing press releases, writing scripts, and conducting interviews with industry professionals. The reporter will also present news updates, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to engage and inform the audience effectively.
Qualifications
- Reporting and Journalism expertise, with demonstrated ability to uncover key stories about business and career opportunities and deliver accurate information
- Strong skills in News Writing and crafting impactful Press Releases
- Proficiency in Writing and developing clear, engaging narratives for broadcast or print
- Excellent verbal communication and on-camera presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to varying topics
- Experience in video production or media roles is an advantage
- Knowledge of trends and developments in technology, healthcare, or sustainable energy, manufacturing and other sectors is preferred
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
