Job Purpose
We are looking for a high-impact On-Premise Channel Manager to lead and accelerate our Ice Cream business across Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, QSRs, and Leisure outlets.
This role owns the end‑to‑end channel strategy—from commercial planning to in‑outlet execution—ensuring strong customer partnerships, premium brand presence, and sustainable growth in the out‑of‑home ice cream occasion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the On-Premise & HoReCa strategy for Ice Cream, aligned with overall business and brand ambitions.
- Develop and execute annual channel plans covering volume, value, assortment, pricing, equipment, and activation.
- Identify white spaces and growth opportunities across formats such as hotels, restaurants, cafés, kiosks, cinemas, and leisure venues.
- Lead relationships with key HoReCa chains, national accounts, and foodservice distributors.
- Design and optimize route-to-market models to maximize coverage and quality of execution.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, trade terms, and contracts within company governance.
- Drive sales performance against volume, value, mix, and profitability targets.
- Ensure best‑in‑class freezer placement, menu visibility, assortment, pricing, and POS execution.
- Lead seasonal, impulse-driven, and experiential activations tailored to ice cream consumption moments.
- Champion premium brand standards and perfect store execution in all On-Premise outlets.
- Partner with Marketing to localize menus, concepts, signage, and experiences for HoReCa environments.
- Develop category strategies that strengthen ice cream’s role in desserts, snacking, and impulse occasions.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D to deliver channel priorities.
- Align demand planning with supply and freezer availability to ensure service excellence.
- Act as the voice of the On-Premise channel in internal leadership forums.
- Track KPIs including sales, distribution, numeric/weighted coverage, ROI, and execution quality.
- Use insights and data to continuously optimize channel investments and plans.
- Coach and upskill field sales and distributor teams on onpremise ice cream selling excellence.
What You Need To Succeed
SKILLS, EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of FMCG dynamics.
- Proven experience managing On-Premise or HoReCa channels.
- Experience in managing large teams.
- Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
- Analytical, customer-centric, and results-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Channel Management, or Trade Marketing (Ice Cream, Frozen, or Foodservice preferred).
- Experience working with distributors and national HoReCa customers.
