That’s most of the role.
You’ll find top-tier guests, figure out the right way to reach them, write messages they actually reply to, and follow up until the conversation moves.
Great guests won’t come just because we sent one email. You’ll need to research well, pitch smartly, and keep going.
What you’ll do
- Find potential guests for Konvo with Kathan
- Build and maintain guest lists that don’t go stale
- Research founders, CEOs, creators, investors, experts, authors, and public figures
- Find emails, Instagram handles, LinkedIn profiles, PR contacts, assistants, and mutual connections
- Write cold emails, DMs, and follow-ups that feel personal and sharp
- Track replies, conversions, and what’s working
- Own the outreach pipeline from first message to confirmed guest
What we’re looking for
- You write clearly. If your DMs are sharper than your resume, send the DMs.
- You don’t take silence personally. You just keep going.
- You can communicate professionally with founders, CXOs, creators, and senior teams.
- You’re organised. Spreadsheets don’t scare you.
- You understand business, creators, startups, media, and podcasts.
- 1–3 years in outreach, PR, partnerships, sales, BD, or creator/media relations preferred. The reflex matters more than the title.
