Who we’re looking for:
We’re searching for a budding storyteller and news anchor who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑platform newsroom. You should have a passion for creative storytelling, a strong sense of what stories Toronto needs to hear, and the willingness to work weekends, evenings, and overnights.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with journalists to discover compelling stories for the broadcast.
- Build and read newscasts or traffic reports on weekends and overnights.
- Create and deliver stories for audio, digital, and TV formats, with a strong emphasis on audio storytelling and writing.
- Field report when required and contribute original story ideas that lead to engaging content.
- Support teammates through the editorial process from pitch to publish.
- Produce stories that stand out from the competition.
