Overview
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication is accepting applications for part-time instructors for Fall 2026 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach mass media courses in radio and television broadcasting, production, writing, producing and reporting. The maximum teaching load is three courses per semester.

Responsibilities
- Teach face-to-face and/or online courses including Introduction to Radio & Digital Audio Production, Introduction to Video Production, Advanced Audio and Video Production, Electronic News Writing, and Electronic Reporting and Producing.
- Work closely with the TV Studio Director and General Manager of WNAA 90.1 FM.
- Maintain professional standards and contribute to the department’s teaching mission.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Communication or closely related discipline, at time of application.
Preferred Experience , Skills, Training
- Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in broadcasting.
