Position: Piano Teacher (Contractor)
Location: Dundalk
Responsibilities
- Plan lessons and resources
- Teach techniques based on RCM curriculum
- Help students prepare for upcoming performances/RCM exams/festivals
- Follow studio policies (to be discussed during interview)
- Interact and stay organized with studio manager and director
- Respond to emails or text quickly
- Punctual start and end of lesson time with each student, along with perfect attendance
- Organized in keeping tabs on schedule, demos, and make-ups
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Excellent piano skills
- A good knowledge of pop music/jazz music/classical music/RCM curriculum
- Patient and enthusiastic
- Good communication skills
- Self‑motivated and good organizational skills
- A good sense of humor and comfortable talking with students and parents
Education & Experience
- Teacher must be familiar with genres other than classical
- MUST have some music certifications, and/or degree related to music
- Experience in teaching children
