Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Abbotsford, BC. The Prepress Technician will be responsible for preparing and reviewing print files for production, including preflighting and pre-press tasks to ensure accuracy and readiness for printing. Other day-to-day duties include handling printing processes, maintaining graphics standards, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of design implementations. Also fill in when needed in production.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Print Production and Printing processes
- Proficiency in Preflight and Pre-press operations
- Strong skills in Graphics and design preparation
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the printing industry is an asset
- Technical proficiency with relevant software and equipment used in print and prepress production
