At Stellar, we are looking for skilled Previs/Layout Artists at various levels to enhance our storytelling through imaginative 3D visualization. This position requires you to interpret storyboards creatively, manipulate camera angles, and work closely with animation and editorial teams. Successful candidates will blend artistry with technical skills to craft visually compelling sequences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform storyboards into dynamic 3D environments
• Block character animation for precise timing
• Manage camera movements and revisions post-animation
• Collaborate effectively with editorial for seamless storytelling
• Address staging challenges using creative problem-solving
Requirements:
• Junior (1-2+ years), Mid (3-5+ years), or Senior (5+ years) experience in production
• Strong knowledge of cinematographic principles
• Working knowledge of Maya pipeline
• Legal right to work in British Columbia
• Optionally, familiarity with editing tools like DaVinci Resolve
