Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Assistant role based at Valson Industries Ltd.’s manufacturing facility in Vapi, Gujarat. The Production Assistant will support daily production operations, including coordinating workflow on the shop floor, monitoring machinery and processes, and ensuring materials and resources are available for smooth manufacturing. The role involves assisting in quality checks, documenting production data, reporting any deviations or issues, and supporting adherence to safety and compliance standards. The Production Assistant will collaborate with supervisors, operators, and other team members to meet production targets, maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, and help improve efficiency and consistency in output. The position may also include basic communication with internal stakeholders to update on production status and timelines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Production Assistance and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Quality Control, including inspections, defect reporting, and adherence to standards.
- Strong Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with supervisors, operators, and cross-functional colleagues.
- Customer Service orientation and attention to detail, including clear communication and, where applicable, basic documentation or Editing of production records.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, work in a fast-paced factory environment, and meet production deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for recording data and using production-related systems.
- Prior experience in textiles or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational training or a diploma/degree in engineering, textiles, or industrial production is beneficial.
