Production Coordinator

Hommey | Melbourne, VIC | Full-Time

At Hommey, production is where great design becomes reality – end to end, from first sample to final delivery. We’re looking for a Production Coordinator who takes real ownership of that journey – someone with a strong attention to detail, a keen eye for problem solving, and the trust of everyone they work with.

About Us

Born in 2020 with a simple cushion and a big dream, Hommey is revolutionising the homeware industry. We believe that creating an aspirational, top-quality brand doesn’t have to break the bank. Our mission? To help you craft a personalised home that truly reflects who you are, without compromising on style or your budget.

The Role

This role sits across supplier relationships, purchase orders, and production timelines, keeping everything connected and on track. You'll work closely with the Production Manager and broader team to ensure suppliers are aligned, deadlines are met, and the business always has accurate, up-to-date production information to work from.

You will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly across suppliers, products, and timelines.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Manage production critical paths, keeping sampling, approvals, and deliveries on track
  • Build and maintain production schedules across multiple orders
  • Raise and track purchase orders accurately
  • Maintain ERP systems and production trackers, including costs and key delivery dates
  • Communicate daily with offshore suppliers to manage timelines and resolve issues proactively
  • Coordinate testing, compliance, and supplier documentation
  • Manage marketing and campaign samples for launches and shoots
  • Work closely with design, merchandising, logistics, and suppliers to keep projects moving
  • Support process improvements, SOPs, and broader production projects as the business grows

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing brand where you’ll have real ownership, visibility across the product lifecycle, and the chance to help shape production processes as we scale.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Production Coordination, Supply Chain, QA, or Procurement
  • Experience working with offshore suppliers and production timelines
  • Confidence using ERP systems, production trackers, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage priorities and communicate clearly across teams
  • Experience within a consumer goods, retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand
  • Exposure to textiles, homewares, or hardgoods is highly regarded

Why Join Hommey?

  • Be part of an ambitious team disrupting the homewares market – we believe in what we do
  • A flexible work culture built around creativity, passion, and genuine teamwork
  • Comfort Days: five additional leave days on top of your standard annual eave accruals
  • A community-driven, customer-first culture where your work makes a real difference
