Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and style manuscripts using proprietary tools
• Hire and manage freelance copy editors and indexers
• Collate proofs and process documents in Adobe Acrobat
• Copyedit cover text and proof jacket designs
• Coordinate artwork and resolve production issues
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of production editorial experience
• Familiarity with trade book publishing preferred
• Strong editing skills and knowledge of industry standards
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Comfortable with digital workflow systems
