General Objective
Key function is responsible for the implementation of SOP’s to support the requirements of Kiabi, provide brand-right advices and solutions to vendors to improve quality and efficiency. To conduct and keep updated the factory evaluation process, vendor calibration, CAP’s while supporting technical and quality training at a vendor/factory level. Activities will be a combination of on-site factory production development and KISS office production status tracking/communication flow.
Main tasks
- Partner with merchandising and technical teams to ensure full compliance of Kiabi requirements.
- Provide direction and guidance to the Production/QA Engineering team to ensure no RTV with major fallout through effective risk management.
- Partner with the brand technical leaders to enhance technical capability in the region.
- Engage with vendors to analysis and improve current manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all Kiabi Norms are followed by vendors at all times.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to the time and action calendars during the production process.
- Develop and apply effective systems of TQM management, both internally and with vendors, to support and ensure product quality.
- Assist in the training and development of the Production Engineering associates to increase their skill levels.
- Act as a positive, supportive leader, consistently demonstrating our shared values and high standards.
- Conduct scheduled and sustained in-line/final quality inspections to ensure that the required quality standards are being met at all production stages.
- Assist in the implementation of new QC initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Monitor the SDQC performance and provide the training / support when required
- Conduct technical evaluations of new factories based on KIABI prescribed criteria and provide recommendations to KISS management.
- Make effective use of the KISS and technical services department reporting procedures and IT systems to ensure timely reporting and integrity of information.
