As a Production Planner you will implement production planning activities for intermediates and finished goods while coordinating the ordering and replenishment of manufactured items from other affiliates or tollers. You will design executable production plans that improve efficiency, minimize waste, and guarantee uninterrupted supply, turning operational insight into tangible performance improvements.

You will be based in Avignon and reporting to a Planning Team Lead.

In this exciting role you will

  • Plan & Implement Create production plans aligned with schedule and production requirements to ensure manufacturing and supply to customers.
  • Collaborate Partner with Customer Care, Production, Logistics, Raw Material Planning, and Quality teams to confirm orders, monitor non-conformance batches, and maintain transparency across the supply chain.
  • Optimize Inventory Manage inventory replenishment to meet agreed stock levels while reducing write-offs and ensuring inventory optimization following our goals.
  • Coordinate Review production requirements through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and capacity planning to secure responses, product availability, and high service performance.
  • Build Expertise Develop an understanding of replenishment systems, technological and food safety requirements (such as Halal, Kosher, allocation matrix), and product-specific processes.
  • Problem Solving Resolve or escalate supply issues proactively, manage exceptions, and contribute to cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Create Excellence Review master data for planning accuracy (e.g., lead times), share best practices, and support training of stable, efficient planning processes.
  • Champion Sustainability & Safety Follow Givaudan's procedures and best practices in safety, quality, and environmental compliance—aligning operational efficiency with responsible practices.

Your professional profile includes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of experience in supply, production, or supply chain planning preferred
  • Business fluency in English mandatory, speaking Italian is a plus
  • Affinity with systems and analytical tools (MS Office)
  • Continuous improvement mindset, eager to refine processes and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborative team player who succeeds in a fast moving and cross-functional environment
