About Us

We EITB are a dynamic dual-capability agency headquartered in Melbourne, operating at the intersection of digital marketing and software development. Our teams craft high-performance digital marketing campaigns, brand strategies, and content ecosystems — while simultaneously building robust web applications, platforms, and custom software solutions for clients across Australia and beyond. You will join a fast-moving, collaborative environment where strategy meets technology every day.

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Project Lead who thrives in a dual-discipline environment. In this role you will own end-to-end delivery across both digital marketing campaigns and technical development projects — working side-by-side with C-Suite executives and client stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, on budget, and above expectation. This is a high-visibility position that requires equal parts strategic thinking, client confidence, and hands-on project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Project Management

  • Own end-to-end delivery of digital marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, and content strategies across multiple client accounts.
  • Coordinate with creatives, copywriters, and strategists to manage campaign timelines, assets, and approvals — ensuring zero missed deadlines.
  • Translate client briefs into detailed project plans with clear milestones, resource allocation, and KPIs aligned to business outcomes.
  • Monitor campaign performance dashboards and produce executive-level status reports for C-Suite and client stakeholders.
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for marketing projects, driving continuous improvement across delivery cycles.
  • Manage scope changes, risks, and issues in marketing engagements with a proactive, solution-first mindset.

Technical & Software Development Project Management

  • Lead agile delivery of web development, mobile application, and custom software projects from discovery through to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and architects to maintain sprint velocity and resolve blockers in real time.
  • Maintain detailed technical project documentation including project charters, user story backlogs, release plans, and RAID logs.
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders — translating complex development requirements into clear business language.
  • Drive quality assurance processes, UAT coordination, and production release sign-offs to ensure defect-free delivery.
  • Proactively manage third-party vendor relationships, API integrations, and external development partners as required.

 Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients — building trusted relationships that drive long-term partnerships and account growth.
  • Present project status updates, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations directly to C-Suite leaders and senior client decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to align on expectations, surface feedback, and identify opportunities to expand scope.
  • Manage escalations professionally and independently, resolving issues before they impact client satisfaction.

 Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Leadership teams during new business pitches to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Champion the adoption of project management best practices, tools, and templates across the agency.
  • Provide support on delivery standards, communication protocols, and client management.

Required Skills & Experience

Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels:

– SEO, SEM / Google Ads, paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok)

– Email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot)

– Content marketing, social media management, and influencer campaigns

  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable project decisions.

 Technical Project Management Expertise

  • Proven experience managing software development projects using Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management platforms:

– Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or equivalent tools

– Confluence or Notion for documentation and knowledge management

  • Working knowledge of web development concepts including HTML/CSS basics, CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify), APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical discussions with developers without needing to write code yourself.
  • Experience with QA processes, UAT planning, and production release coordination.

 Core Competencies

  • 2–3 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally within a digital agency, software company, or dual-discipline environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — confident presenting to C-Suite executives and external clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, tracking project profitability, and writing SOW/change-request documentation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different disciplines without dropping the ball.
  • Natural problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and finds solutions before escalating.
  • A growth mindset — eager to learn, adapt, and bring new ideas to improve agency delivery.

 Nice to Have

  • Experience working directly with C-Level stakeholders or founding teams in a scale-up environment.
  • Background in both agency and in-house product/technology roles in start-ups
  • Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation), marketing automation workflows, or growth hacking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Hotjar, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.

What We Offer

  • A genuinely dual-skill role that gives you exposure across both digital marketing and software development disciplines.
  • Direct collaboration with C-Suite leaders — high visibility and real influence from day one.
  • A collaborative, energetic Melbourne office culture with hybrid flexibility.
  • Clear career pathway toward Senior Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Head of Delivery.
  • Access to cutting-edge tools, platforms, and a client portfolio spanning diverse industries.
