What We Look For
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading medium to large-scale construction and fit-out projects, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with Cushman & Wakefield Core’s quality, safety, and client standards. The role demands a proactive leader capable of managing contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders efficiently.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and within budget, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain clear communication and progress tracking, to maintain clear communication, facilitate collaboration, and track project progress effectively.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, schedules, reports, and presentations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Support tendering, contractor evaluation, and procurement processes, including the preparation of tender documents and assessment of contractor submissions.
- Track and report on project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards, and sustainability objectives.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders and addressing any concerns or challenges that arise.
- Mentor and support junior project team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Collaborate with internal service lines (e.g., finance, legal, and operations) to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- 5 – 8 years of project management experience within a real estate, construction, or consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to manage commercial, fit-out, or mixed-use projects independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of design coordination, cost control, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate market dynamics.
