JOB PURPOSE:
The RD&I local specialist will be responsible for the support and delivery of innovation to Market, partnering with business partner (Marketing, QA, Legal, CD), ensuring that R&D product information to consumer and customer is OTIF, compliant, maximizing superiority claim and execution, following the digital roadmap.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete local specifications (CU-PIRD) for Ice Cream projects in Europe on time in full to enable digital data to flow to customers ahead of the products reaching the markets
- Input and review local technical data in the artworks process with an objective of zero noncompliance or market incidents
- Assess any claims, business requests (e.g. saleable trials) and review any competitor challenges by using the available compliance network
- Answering product & pack-related enquiries that come in via the careline & Sales. This refers to data available in the local specifications (CU-PIRDS).
- Adapting projects Q&As (questions & answers), KBS, selling story for the local market, supporting local CD-Sales needs.
- Identify improvement in the processes of technical data management and support the digital transformation roadmap.
- Act as the first line of compliance contact in the country (subject to the local Regulatory Affairs organization):
- Providing local CRES input
- Artwork labelling compliance, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements
- Managing local deviations and market practices relevant to labelling and compliance
- Providing input for local technical product challenges or issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve product-related concerns
- Leveraging local market knowledge to address and escalate issues effectively
- Be ice cream R&D reference for local training to business partners, supporting tasting sessions, competitor monitoring and “happy product” process. Acting as local ears and eyes of R&D to innovation, product-packaging country trends.
SKILLS:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Working knowledge of European & local foods – ice cream regulations
- Fully operational in the artwork process
- Highly collaborative spirit inspiring teamwork & collaboration
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
- A balanced, calm approach to deliver projects in tight timelines
- Fluent in Czech on top of English
- Slovak language – nice to have
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Intermediate or higher professional education in Food Science /Data Science or related areas
- Fully operational in SAP PLM
