What You'll Do

Market Entry & Growth Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Korea, from brand positioning and audience segmentation to pipeline generation and revenue impact
  • Build and execute localized marketing campaigns that resonate with Korean creators, designers, agencies, and enterprise clients
  • Own the full-funnel marketing motion: awareness, acquisition, activation, and retention

Content & Narrative

  • Develop compelling, locally relevant content and brand narratives around AI-powered creativity
  • Stay deeply attuned to Korea's tech and AI landscape — track trends, cultural moments, and competitor moves to ensure our messaging stays sharp and timely
  • Produce and localize high-impact marketing assets (campaigns, case studies, social content, events) that demonstrate product value

Cross-Border Collaboration

  • Serve as the critical bridge between the Korea market and our China-based HQ (Marketing, GTM, Product)
  • Ensure seamless information flow: translate local market insights into actionable feedback for product and central teams, and align Korea initiatives with global strategy
  • Partner with local agencies, KOLs, media, and community leaders to build brand credibility and expand reach

Localization & Ecosystem Building

  • Adapt product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market playbooks to fit Korea's unique digital ecosystem (Naver, Kakao, local ad platforms, creator economy)
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local partners, communities, and industry stakeholders
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of local marketing resources and talent

Revenue Alignment

  • Work closely with local sales/BD leadership to ensure marketing efforts directly support pipeline and revenue goals
  • Track, measure, and optimize marketing performance with a strong focus on ROI and business outcomes

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior IC role within Korea's tech, SaaS, or creative tools industry
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling products in the Korean market — you know the landscape, the platforms, and the culture
  • Strong content instincts and creative judgment — you can craft narratives that land, and you have a sharp eye for what works in Korea's fast-moving digital environment
  • Deep interest in AI — ideally with direct experience in the AI/ML space; otherwise, you can demonstrate hands-on fluency with AI tools and a genuine passion for the technology
  • Bilingual fluency in Korean and English; Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus (given HQ communication needs)
  • Entrepreneurial and execution-oriented — comfortable operating with ambiguity, building from scratch, and getting into the weeds when needed
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills — you can navigate different working styles and align stakeholders across geographies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with creative tools, design software, or platforms serving designers, marketers, or content creators
  • Existing network within Korea's AI, design, or advertising communities
  • Background in growth marketing, performance marketing, or community-led growth
  • Prior experience working with China-based companies or in a matrixed global organization
