Duties:
Assist in the execution of a research dissemination event.
Assist in preparing displays and interactive exhibits for the research dissemination event.
Assist in monitoring the research event.
Maintain communications and outreach to research partners.
Determine community partners/sponsors for research dissemination event.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/
Experience:
Ability for flexible work hours depending on project timelines.
Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience working with community partners.
Experience creating public art and interactive exhibits
Experience with creative expression (painting, Indigenous Art and Drawing, Digital Media and Design).
Proficiency with microsoft office, canva, and/or other programs for documentation, visual content creation, and labeling exhibition material.
Knowledge of women’s studies, gender-based violence, and/or trauma informed practice is an asset.
Applicant is required for in-person meetings and exhibits in Brandon Manitoba.
