About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Rosin Bag Filling Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filling and pre-pressing rosin bags while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in the work area. This role requires a commitment to meeting performance expectations and adhering to safety and cleaning procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bag Filling & Pre-Pressing: Accurately fill and pre-press rosin bags to meet a target of 4000g per 8-hour shift.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update both paper and digital filling and pressing logs to ensure accurate tracking of production metrics.
  • Cleaning Procedures: Follow cleaning protocols for equipment, supplies, and the work area to ensure a safe and sanitary production environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of the filled bags and report any inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth production process and assist in training new staff as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for logging and reporting production data.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods during shifts.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling materials.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, food production, or packaging environment.
  • Experience operating production equipment or machinery.
  • Familiarity with production documentation, inventory tracking, or quality control processes.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry with established SOPs and safety requirements.

Details:

  • Location: Albany, NY
  • Reports To: Jonathan Mojarro, General Manager
  • On-Site Requirement: 5 days per week in the lab
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (on-site)
  • Compensation: $23.00–$24.00 per hour
