Role Description The Sales Manager role at Gulf Craft Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Maldives. The Sales Manager will oversee the end-to-end sales process for luxury yachts and leisure boats, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting client meetings, and preparing tailored proposals. This role manages key client accounts, negotiates contracts, and coordinates closely with operations, marketing, and after-sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and achieve revenue and profitability targets. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate sales reports, participating in trade shows and events, and representing Gulf Craft’s brand and values in all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales management, preferably in marine, luxury goods, hospitality, or related high-value product sectors.
  • Strong skills in business development, lead generation, and account management to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, closing deals, and contract management with attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Ability to analyze market data, sales metrics, and customer insights to develop and adjust sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse, international clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to work on-site in a client-facing environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Maldives or in an international, multicultural setting is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and basic digital tools to manage pipelines, reporting, and client records.
  • Genuine interest in yachting, boating, or luxury travel, with the ability to understand and communicate technical product features.
