Role Description The Senior Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at GAG Coffee in Gandhinagar. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages to established recipes and standards, managing daily café operations, and supporting junior team members with training and guidance. The Senior Barista will handle customer orders, maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace, and ensure consistent product quality and speed of service. Responsibilities also include engaging with guests, resolving concerns, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with the café management team to improve processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including coffee preparation, espresso-based drink making, and familiarity with specialty coffee standards.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming environment and build positive guest relationships.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact effectively with guests.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, including adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality guidelines.
- Previous experience in a café or food and beverage environment, preferably in a senior or lead barista role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience; additional training will be provided.
