Role Description
WDHRS is looking for an ambitious, mission-driven, and experienced Senior Business Development Representative to help us land new clients. This is a remote, 1099 contractor role. This role is 100% commission-based.
This is a start-up; we’re seeking change-makers, disruptors, and people who are ready to bet on themselves. The world is your oyster.

We know there are organizations and professionals who are ready for our services, and we also know we can't do everything ourselves. One of the first things we need support in is sales. We have the products, and we have the foundation of a sales system. We want your ideas, and we want you to execute them. Feedback is always welcome; give us pointers on our product placement, and even on how we close. When we close, you get paid.
You'll be a partner for us, and this role offers significant growth potential. This is a month-to-month contract to start, with the potential for extension to a longer-term contract or W2 position based on company growth.
The ideal candidate is someone with a go-getter mentality and an established network that allows you to move quickly and efficiently. If you’re a connector in the HR space, this would be a great opportunity for you.
Client acquisition is your top priority.
Commission Structure
- You will earn 20% commission on the revenue from all signed contractual agreements that you generate.
- For each month that you close at least $40,000, you will earn an additional $5,000 bonus. (So, if you do this for 12 months, you have the potential to earn a total of $180,000 for the year).
- Signed revenue = collected/invoiced revenue. Most engagements require a 50% deposit, which also helps you be compensated faster.
Goals
- 30-90-Day Goal: Launch the sales system, begin making connections, and build familiarity with our founders and our products. Close at least $40,000 in new business revenue.
- 6 Month Goal: Close at least $120,000 in new business revenue.
- 12 Month Goal: Close $450,000 in new business revenue.
Qualifications That'll Set You Up for Success
- Genuine alignment with our mission of building a better world of work
- 4+ years of B2B sales, business development, or consultative selling experience
- Prior experience selling HR consulting, L&D, executive coaching, DEI, or organizational development services
- An existing network or book of business in HR, People & Culture, L&D, or adjacent professional services
- Comfort with cold outreach across LinkedIn, email, and phone
- Experience with building, nurturing, and maintaining relationships within an existing network and potential or existing customer base
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and basic CRM functions
- Experience selling to mid-market organizations (50–800 employees)
- Strong written and verbal communication — able to translate our diagnostic into language that resonates with relevant buyers
- Initiative, determination, and being undaunted by failure — you know your craft, and you don't let the numbers intimidate you
- Self-directed and accountable — you set your own pace and meet your numbers without being micromanaged
- A high level of integrity and ethical decision-making/behavior
