Salary Range: $150,000 – $190,000

About the Role

Are you a strategic, forward-thinking communications professional ready to shape the voice of one of Canada’s most admired business sectors? Beer Canada is seeking an experienced leader to join our senior leadership team and champion the story of Canadian beer and the brewers who make it.

Reporting directly to the President, you will lead all aspects of the Association’s strategic communications and marketing. This high-impact role will see you developing and executing integrated communication strategies that support policy priorities, government relations, public advocacy, digital engagement, and member communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Association’s full communications and marketing portfolio.

• Build and execute integrated communications plans aligned with strategic priorities.

• Drive public relations campaigns that support government relations and advocacy efforts.

• Support and advise the organization’s spokesperson with messaging, media preparation, and outreach.

• Ensure clear, consistent internal and external communications.

• Cultivate strong relationships with national and regional media.

• Manage external communications agencies and consultants for optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior communications leader with measurable achievements.

• Exceptional writing skills in both French and English, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive content.

• Strong background in media relations, public affairs, and government relations in complex stakeholder environments.

• Expertise in digital and traditional communications strategy and execution.

• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.

• Fluency in both official languages is required.
