We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our McCann Design team.
The role
McCann is New Zealand’s leading creative agency, with a large and passionate award-winning team.
As a Senior Motion Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and building 2D motion content, animation, editing and video content creation. Working and learning to achieve best practice and ensuring high quality, error free work. Practicing in the art of storytelling, whilst working closely with Producers, Designers, and Creative. A general interest in AI video creation would also be an added bonus.
What will you bring?
With at least 5 years of experience as a Motion Designer, you will have perfected your craft and will bring experience to the wider team, working closely and mentoring intermediate and junior team members. Pervious experience working in creative or digital agencies, within a fast-paced environment, would be ideal.
You’ll be working with internal teams or stakeholders to develop the work, participate in briefing and brainstorming sessions, giving insights into the work and how motion design will contribute to digital projects. You can work to deadlines and stick to tight timeframes if needed and have experience across a variety of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects, Figma, and other 2D production software).
