Role Overview
We're growing our Product function and hiring a Senior Product Manager to own a product squad end to end. You'll work alongside engineering, client experience, and operations to take problems from ambiguous to shipped, on a platform where getting the details right has real consequences for clients' people getting paid correctly and on time.
This is a hands-on ownership role. You set the direction for your area, define what gets built and why and stay close to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and outcomes for your squad, translating company priorities into a clear, sequenced plan
- Set the squad's direction and pace, deciding what gets built, in what order , and why
- Turn client and operator friction into well-scoped work that's worth building
- Think at the platform level, weighing how your suad's decision affect the wider system
- Translate the nulti- jurisdiction domain into product the squad can build, working with compliance and operations so the platform handles statutory differences across markets
- Make the prioritisation calls when scope, time and quality pull against each other, and hold delivery to the measures you set
- Work cross-functionally with Client Experience, Operations, and Sales so what ships actually lands with clients
Key Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, with a track record of owning and shipping B2B software
- Strong product fundamentals: discovery, prioritisation, crisp written specs, and a bias for shipping
- Comfort with operationally complex or compliance-heavy domains (HR tech, fintech, payroll, or similar regulated B2B SaaS)
- A builder instinct: in the detail with engineers, and operators, shaping the work as it's built
- Fluency with AI in your own product practice, using AI tools across discovery, specs, and analysis, with a view on where they sharpen the craft and where they don't
- Clear, direct communication and the judgement to know what matters and what can wait
- Experience working across APAC markets, or genuine appetite to go deep on the region's regulatory diversity
