At QAptiv-IT, we’re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer ready to take ownership and push quality to the next level.
📍 Location: Brussels
💼 Contract: Full-time
🗣️ Languages: Dutch or French + English
🔍 Your Role
▪️ Develop and maintain automation frameworks
▪️ Validate APIs, integrations, and event-driven systems
▪️ Ensure reliability of asynchronous processes
▪️ Write clear BDD scenarios using Gherkin
▪️ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
▪️ Collaborate closely with dev teams and stakeholders
🧠 Your Expertise
✔️ Extensive experience (10+ years) in test automation
✔️ Strong focus on backend testing & integrations
✔️ Solid understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS)
✔️ Experience with asynchronous architectures
✔️ Proficiency in Java
✔️ Hands-on with JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber
✔️ Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab)
✔️ Experience with BDD & Gherkin
