Overview
Ashley Wilde Group (AWG) is looking for a Senior Textile Designer to join its state‑of‑the‑art studio. The role reports directly to Design Director Laura Spencer and involves leading the development of commercial and trend‑driven fabric collections while ensuring high quality, ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of commercial and trend‑driven fabric collections.
- Ensure collections meet rigorous critical paths required by top‑tier retail partners.
- Manage direct communication with global suppliers, ensuring accuracy between master samples and production while negotiating quality and ethical standards.
- Present concepts confidently to Directors, brand owners and buyers.
- Simultaneously manage multiple collections.
Qualifications
- 6‑8 years of experience designing and developing fabric collections.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of print and weave processes.
- Sophisticated understanding of commercial design and market trends.
- Proficiency in CAD packages such as AVA and Adobe Suite.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership.
