We do not just cut footage; we craft stories that stick. We are on the hunt for a brilliant, versatile Senior Video Editor to step into our fast-paced environment and lead the post-production charge.
The Role
As our Senior Video Editor, you will be the creative and technical engine room of our post-production workflow. This is a role for a true chameleon of the edit suite. We need someone who can edit an interview like butter on a Monday, and seamlessly pivot to a high-end, frame-accurate TVC on a Tuesday.
You will have complete ownership over your projects, steering them from raw footage to polished, broadcast-ready deliverables, while ensuring our technical infrastructure remains bulletproof.
Key Responsibilities
- High-End Editing: Craft compelling narratives across a massive variety of formats, including TVCs, online content, high-impact social media assets, branded docs, and product videos.
- Project and Timeline Management: Own your post-production timelines. You will keep projects on schedule, budget your time effectively, and ensure strict deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.
- Freelancer Collaboration: Work alongside and help guide freelance editors, motion designers, and sound mixers to ensure a cohesive creative vision across larger campaigns.
- Technical Infrastructure: Oversee local server management, asset organisation, archiving, and backup systems to ensure our media workflow is secure, fast, and organised.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Confidently interpret briefs from marketing agencies, corporate clients, and government stakeholders, translating feedback into slick, polished revisions.
Who You Are
- The Experience: 5+ years of experience editing in a fast-paced agency or production house environment, with a killer portfolio to prove it.
- The Chameleon: You understand the pacing differences between a 15-second TikTok, a corporate brand video, and a 30-second broadcast TVC.
- Technical Ninja: Advanced mastery of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, alongside a solid working knowledge of After Effects.
- Server Savvy: You are not afraid of the back-end. You have a solid grasp of server management, shared storage networks (NAS or SAN), and robust backup/archiving protocols.
- The Mindset: Calm under pressure, highly organised, and collaborative. You take pride in absolute attention to detail (yes, that means checking the audio levels and legal title safety zones every single time).
