Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Signwriter and Installer located in Maitland, NSW. The role involves creating, fabricating, and installing a wide range of signage solutions for clients. Responsibilities include designing signs, preparing materials, applying vinyl, operating sign-making equipment, and performing installations at client sites. Attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential aspects of the role. Interacting with clients and ensuring the quality of the finished product are also key components of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Signwriting, including designing and creating custom signage solutions
- Hands-on experience with sign-making tools, vinyl application, and material preparation
- Skilled in installation techniques and comfortable working at different heights
- Ability to interpret design specifications and ensure quality control
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Relevant experience or trade qualifications in signwriting or a related field
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to various work sites
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance measures for signage installation
